The Department of Marathi in Arts & Commerce College, Satpur aims to impart quality education to students developing their language skills. The department was established in 2009 along with the establishment of the college. Keeping the motto ‘Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay’ in mind, the mother institute Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj intends to develop social consciousness and social vision along with the study of language and literature among the students. Therefore, the Department offers Marathi at special level. With this, extra efforts are put to enhance the manners and etiquette of the students. The Department is committed to innovative teaching, maximum exposure to Marathi so that the department’s graduates go on to successful careers in education at all levels.
